Langston Hughes

James Mercer Langston Hughes born February 1st  of 1902 was an American poet,social activist,novelist,play-writer and columnist. He  is one of the earliest innovators of the then-now literary art form jazz poetry. Better known as Langston Hughes is most well known for his poetry during the Harlem Renaissance Era. One can even go as far as saying that Hughes is the best Jazz Poet of his era. Langston Hughes died in the year of 1967 from prostate cancer but always and forever he will be remembered, as his work lives on.
